After a successful realisation of two cycles of free Serbian language classes via Skype during 2014 and 2015, organised by the Centre for Serbian as a foreign and a second language at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš and the City of Niš Office for the cooperation with the diaspora, and under the sponsorship of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and the Serbs in the Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, during March 2016 we started the third cycle of Serbian language classes via Skype for the young people from the diaspora. The total of 26 college students and 28 pupils from the diaspora has been included, among whom the candidates from Australia take part in the project for the first time. The end of this course is planned for June 2016.
Based on the decision made by the Academic Council of the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, starting from 25th November 2016, four students from the faculties of Philosophy, History and Theology in Temišvar will attend classes of the Serbian language study programme during the spring semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. As a part of their study-stay in Niš, from 1st March 2016, the students from Romania also attend classes of the Serbian language at the Centre.
