КАО СТРАНИ И НЕМАТЕРЊИ

It is organised in two levels A1 and A2.

Level A1 is intended for absolute beginners and is aimed at mastering the pronunciation of all phonemes of the Serbian language, the use of Cyrillic and Latin scripts, as well as learning the basics of the grammar. The syllabus includes covering present, perfect and future tense, and then nouns and basic case meanings, personal, possessive and demonstrative pronouns, adjectives (descriptive) and antonyms of the most commonly used adjectives. Special attention has been given to the lexicon through the treatment of specific topics. Thus, the students will learn the basic forms of politeness in the Serbian language, the lexicon related to food and drink, clothing, street orientation, shopping, academic community. In this sense, it will be very important to put students into imaginary life situations, such as introducing oneself and meeting others, phone conversations, dialogues in the currency exchange office or a restaurant, coffee shop and the like.

Level A2 is intended for those who already have certain prior knowledge (included in the level A1), whereby grammar rules are further extended. Besides present, perfect and future tenses, this level covers the imperative mood, as well as passive participle, and special attention is given to the position of verbal clitics in a sentence. This level will also cover certain groups of nouns, as well as descriptive and possessive adjectives, and various types of declension in the Serbian language.

The cost of each of the courses is € 500 in RSD equivalent on the day of the payment at the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia, regardless of the number of participants. There are special benefits (in the form of lower cost for the course or free attendance) for those who come to the Centre as participants of any of the current projects.
